Answering you, I wud go step by step... Starting from the end of the article where you asked, Can India Win This Time ?, Well, answer is simple, "Yes" they can. And similarly, even Pakistan or any other team can. Because, to predict specifically, is impossible.

But, logically, we have good chances this year. I mean, the best opportunity to win a world cup ever.
BATTING: World's best batsman Master, Most aggressive batsman Viru, Then we have Gambhir, Raina, Yuvi, Yusuf, MSD, Virat... So many good batsman that the likes of Uthappa, Rohit, Vijay, S.Tiwary & many other are sitting out...

Wicket-Keeping: Then the wicket-keeper batsman MSD, any questions to his batting or keeping or leadership abilities ? OMG... I dont even remember when was the last time when we even thought of a WK having so many qualities. We always wished, that our WK could at-least bat a bit. Now we have a complete flamboyant package. & other options are not bad too... DK, Parthiv & Saha...

BOWLING: Headed by Zaheer (we have never had an opportunity to have the pleasure of choosing few amongst many...) followed by Praveen Kumar who is dangerous as well as effective in the sub-continent conditions, then the experienced Nehra, would be handy in the death overs & Munaf, who can keep the things tight with neat line & length. Then Bhajji leading the spin department followed by R.Ashwin, a bowler who has been appreciated for his variation & lastly, Piyush, a young, energentic & promising leg-spinner who can be very useful of the slow pitches & also brings variety to the spin attack. And yes, here too we've quality bowlers like Ojha & Mishra scratching their heads thinking, what mistakes did they make to miss out ?...

Can we wish for ...? Or did we ever had ... Such a situation where the SELECTORS HAD TO WORRY BOUT WHOM TO DROP, RATHER THAN WHOM TO CHOOSE ? ;) All answers lie here. We have grown as a team. We have been wonderful over last few years. And the best thing is that, all of this transformation has happened gradually... So we can say, that we are here to say... The present & the future of Indian cricket seems to be secured.

Hope We Win :) Wish We Win... But, Even If We Don't. I Still Stand By The Men In Blue & Say, "U Guys R The Best" & "I Love U Guys"... Forget about the results, just give you best. Cheers !

india to win world cup ,required player like kapil. Why not we give another chance to IRFAAN he wil deliver. He has skill to be a good bowling alrounder . We are giving enough chances to other player like JADEJA. Irfaan will be ideal oneday player.

i think the board should look at pathan as a batting all-rounder
i agree he has lost his swing..but surely he is excellent as a fifth bowler who wont give away too many runs and take wickets as well
